A cigarette case, also referred to as a tin, is a hinged box designed to protect cigarettes and keep them fresh for as long as possible. Common materials for making such cases include metal and other durable materials. Cigarette cases are designed to fit comfortably into pockets and usually open symmetrically to provide room for multiple cigarettes. Many models also include spring or elastic straps to secure them firmly in their place. Cigarette cases were extremely popular during the 1920s and 30s in America where smoking rates reached their highest point. These ornate gold, silver, and platinum boxes could often be personalized further with engraving for extra style and flair. Peter Carl Faberge, known for his stunning Faberge eggs, designed one of the most elegant cigarette cases ever created by jewellery designers - one featuring dark blue moire guilloche enamel and featuring an Art Nouveau-style snake biting its tail is considered among his greatest works.

Though the number of smokers has declined, cigarette cases continue to be fashionable accessories. Some vintage sterling silver models can even be highly collectable due to their ornate designs that recall bygone eras.

An ideal accessory for anyone who prefers rolling their own tobacco, cigarette cases enable users to safely store rolled cigarettes ready for smoking on the go. We carry an array of cases in various diameter sizes that suit most popular brands including Kingsize and Vogue.
