Dave and Jenny Marrs Open Mercantile in Centerton, Arkansas

Dave and Jenny Marrs from HGTV's Fixer to Fabulous have announced the opening of their inaugural home goods store. Set to open its doors to the public on April 1 at 10 a.m. in Centerton, this shop promises an experience unlike anything you will find elsewhere!

Mars Mercantile is more like entering an art museum than a thrift shop, with racks carefully organized by decade to showcase leather vests, slip dresses, and everything in between.

Vintage Clothing

Mercantile shops once provided rural communities with everything from pantry staples and children's toys to farm supplies all under one roof. Today, however, many of these historic stores serve as treasure troves for vintage enthusiasts.

Dave and Jenny Marrs of HGTV's Fixer to Fabulous have set about to transform an historic bank building in Centerton into a mercantile store, set to open April 1. "Our aim is to recapture and celebrate what mercantilism once was: the hub of community life," they tell TV Insider.

Dave and Jenny Marrs from HGTV's Fixer Upper have expanded their business to include home goods retailer Marrs Mercantile in Centerton, Arkansas - just across from their Welcome Inn hotel. Renovation of an old bank building from 1905 was performed to convert this space into Marrs Mercantile which provides an array of home goods as well as handmade products for purchase.

Jenny and Dave use many locally-sourced goods and brand favorites on their show, as well as furniture, rugs, and home accessories from this merctile.

At the mercantile, guests can find items to enhance their kitchens, dining rooms, bedrooms and bathrooms. Opening to the public on Saturday April 1 at 10 a.m. Those interested in being one of the first shoppers can register now to be among the first shoppers - music and food trucks will provide entertainment while they wait their turn to enter! Following a ribbon-cutting ceremony of 12-1 pm they'll also host magazine signings!

Dave and Jenny Marrs of HGTV's Fixer to Fabulous have brought their creative touch to Centerton, Arkansas by renovating an historic bank building that opened its doors in 1905 into the Marrs Mercantile.

This store sells locally-sourced goods as well as brand favorites featured on the show, along with specially curated food and beverage products.

On Saturday, April 1, the grand opening took place to much fanfare. To help manage crowds more efficiently, guests were required to register online and were given an assigned time and date to enter. While waiting in line, shoppers could enjoy music performances and food trucks at nearby City Park.

When visiting Bentonville, don't miss visiting Marrs Mercantile and downtown Bentonville. In Bentonville you can visit the Walmart Museum and walk up its only bike-able skyscraper; or Yayoi Kusama's Infinity Mirrored Room at Crystal Bridges.
