Before starting to paint, make sure you have all the necessary materials:
Clean the ceiling thoroughly and allow it to dry completely before beginning your painting. You should remove any cobwebs, dust, or dirt accumulated on the ceiling. Tape off any areas that you do not want to paint such as light fixtures or ceiling fans.
Before starting to paint the clouds, apply a base coat on the entire surface of the ceiling. You can use a paint roller or a large brush to apply the base coat. Make sure to use a color that complements the sky and clouds such as light blue or white.
