How to Unlock a Door with a Bobby Pin: A Step-by-Step Guide

November 10, 2023

Step 1: Gather Your Materials

In order to unlock a door with a bobby pin, you will need a few essential materials. The first thing you will need is, of course, a bobby pin. You will also need a tension wrench. If you don't have a tension wrench, you can use a paperclip or a small screwdriver as an alternative. Once you have these materials ready, you can move on to the next step.

Step 2: Insert the Bobby Pin

Take your bobby pin and bend it open so that it is straight. Then, insert the straight end of the bobby pin into the keyhole of the door. You will want to make sure that the bobby pin is wedged in securely so that it does not slip out while you are trying to unlock the door.

Step 3: Use the Tension Wrench

Next, take your tension wrench and insert it into the bottom of the keyhole. Apply slight pressure in the direction that you would turn the key to unlock the door. Keep this pressure steady as you move on to the next step.

Step 4: Turn the Bobby Pin

Now that you have the bobby pin and tension wrench in place, you can begin to turn the bobby pin. Slowly and gently start to turn the bobby pin in the same direction that you would turn the key. As you do this, keep the pressure steady with the tension wrench.

Step 5: Practice and Patience

It may take some practice to get the hang of using a bobby pin to unlock a door. Be patient and keep trying. With practice, you should be able to successfully unlock a door using a bobby pin and a tension wrench.
