As Denise Lindgren's son Kyle lost his fight against leukemia last summer, members of Westlake Middle School in Seattle devised an idea for raising funds for his tombstone: holding a walk on their track where attendees could donate and receive T-shirts in return. Their initial total tallied almost exactly what was necessary.
Lundgren began his acting career in the 1980s, appearing in numerous action-oriented movies such as Masters of the Universe (1987), Red Scorpion (1988), I Come in Peace (1990) and Showdown in Little Tokyo (1991). Additionally he co-starred opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme and Keanu Reeves in Universal Soldier (1992) and Johnny Mnemonic (1995). Later he predominantly featured in direct-to-video films in 2000s.
More recently, Lundgren wrote, produced and starred in Puncture Wounds (2014) - a crime thriller. Additionally, he reprised his role as Gunner Jensen from Sylvester Stallone's The Expendables franchise alongside an all-action cast before playing Ivan Drago in Creed II (2018). Additionally, Lundgren made notable appearances in Arrow Season 5 as well as James Wan's 2022 film Minions: The Rise of Gru (2024).
At FSi, Lindgren enjoys working on large manufacturing projects that have an immediate effect on real people. He appreciates the variety of his job--he has designed everything from Buddhist temples to Boeing factories--while camping and hiking are two activities he loves doing with his wife and their dog Rainier outside work hours.
