Each year, the Park Slope Civic Council organizes a self-guided house tour that takes visitors on a journey through some of the area’s most stunning residences. The tour is a celebration of Brooklyn’s rich history, and a chance for residents and visitors alike to explore the unique character of this amazing neighborhood.

The neighborhood was originally developed in the 1860s as a residential community for wealthy New Yorkers, and many of the homes built during this time period still stand today.
