Established by ten chefs who believed that working together was more successful than going it alone, R House turned an auto body shop in Remington neighborhood into a modern-day food court. With roll-up garage doors and polished concrete that pay homage to its past, this 50,000 square feet space also includes seating for families as well as a central bar which draws crowds late at night.
The brand is inspired by the building's industrial aesthetic and history, featuring stenciled "R" graphics to match its letterpress-inspired logotype. The color palette is cheerful and energetic, featuring a large painted R that extends across windows connecting it to steel exterior directional signage.
