Kale Kitchen is a restaurant which uses food grown on site to produce sustainable dishes with modern aesthetics. Situated in a warehouse and offering outdoor seating, live music on special occasions as well as board games and a beer garden are among its offerings; as well as its menu which features burgers, sandwiches and salads.

Kale has long been available in supermarket produce sections, yet has only recently gained in popularity as a healthful and delicious green with an impressive nutritional profile. Unfortunately, some clients may still find kale to be tough or bitter due to its high glucosinolate content - giving it its distinct taste - however by including different kale varieties into diet plans along with various cooking methods and preparation techniques they will learn how to enjoy its distinctive taste!

RDs can employ several strategies to enhance kale's flavor, such as adding lemon juice directly onto steamed kale to increase brightness without creating an adverse color reaction; adding red pepper flakes for heat and nuttiness; or steaming the veggie in chicken broth to boost its aroma and aroma.

Kale belongs to the Brassica oleracea species of plants, along with cabbage, Brussels sprouts, broccoli and cauliflower; however it falls into an acephala ("without head") group. There are more than 50 cultivars of kale available; five common ones found in US supermarkets include curly kale, Tuscan or lacinato kale, red Russian kale and Redbor kale.
