If you're searching for a more luxurious neighborhood, Chicago has plenty to offer. Many of the city's finest neighborhoods are within easy walking distance of all that makes Chicago such an exciting place to live; featuring gorgeous homes, excellent schools, and numerous entertainment and dining options that will surely make anyone feel pampered and rich.

The most luxurious areas of Chicago can be found in its northern and southern suburbs, where families can enjoy suburban living while still being close to all of the city's attractions. You'll find luxury condos in West Loop and River North as well as charming neighborhoods filled with historic buildings and tree-lined streets.

These neighborhoods are distinguished by an abundance of parks, fine dining establishments and some of the region's premier private schools. Although more expensive than other parts of town, residents tend to have higher household incomes and a lower crime rate in these areas.

River North

River North, Chicago's nightlife neighborhood, offers homebuyers luxury in the form of lofts and condos. With a median sale price in the low $400s, it's no wonder why so many residents here are drawn to its high-rises, lofts, and townhomes that line its streets.

This vibrant neighborhood is ideal for young professionals and newcomers to the area, as it's easily walkable to all of downtown's finest attractions. Additionally, those seeking housing near either University of Illinois at Chicago campus or The Loop should consider this neighborhood as one of their top choices.

Wilmette

Wilmette, Illinois, is a picturesque neighborhood with brick streets and lakefront access. Its residents value work-life balance as well as convenient commuting options.

This neighborhood offers plenty of activities, such as visiting the North Shore Cultural Center and taking a leisurely walk along Lake Michigan. Additionally, it boasts some of Chicago's upscale eateries. Plus, you can catch the Blue Line train to downtown or the airport with ease!

Avondale

Once a Polish community, Avondale has evolved into one of Chicago's hottest neighborhoods for young professionals. The neighborhood has seen an uptick in new construction, with lofts and condos now being constructed within many of its older buildings lining the streets.

It's no wonder why this neighborhood has become so sought-after, boasting trendy restaurants, coffee shops and boutique retail shops. Plus it's just a short drive away from the University of Illinois at Chicago campus and downtown Loop - making it an ideal hub for students and young professionals.

Mount Greenwood

Situated 14 miles southwest of the city center, Mount Greenwood provides suburban living with some of the area's top schools and plenty of outdoor space. It's an ideal spot to raise a family.
