Their unique construction provides them with an unprecedented degree of versatility, making it the most cost-effective way to produce curved structures with small radii. Furthermore, these panels are termite, borer and moisture proof.

Easy to bend

Flexi ply is easy to bend, making it perfect for furniture with curvier forms. Available in various thicknesses including long grain and cross grain options. Some versions even feature decorative faces which adds visual interest when bent by hand or machine; plus it maintains its shape after being bent!

Once a jig or mould has been established, flexi ply is usually adhered to it and left to set for 24 hours or overnight. Once set, plywood can then be bent into any desired form or shape by simply flexing.

Bending plywood creates endless creative opportunities for amateur craftspeople and professionals in various trades. While this type of wood can be bent into curves using a steamer, this process is labor-intensive. An easier method involves pre-soaking it in hot water first to soften its edges.
